Rules
Minecraft Club Rules
Welcome to Minecraft Club! Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and friendly space for all players. To keep things fair and enjoyable, we ask everyone to follow these rules.
These rules help protect players, keep gameplay fun, and ensure a positive experience for all. Breaking them may result in temporary or permanent bans, depending on the severity of the issue.
🌟 Always Rules (Applies to Everyone, Always!)
1️⃣ Play Nicely & Work Together
Minecraft is more fun when we cooperate and help each other. Be respectful, share resources, and work together on builds.
2️⃣ No Griefing
Griefing—breaking or altering another player’s build without permission—is not allowed. Everyone works hard on their creations, and we respect that. If an issue arises, contact an admin.
3️⃣ Family-Friendly Builds Only
All builds should be appropriate for players aged 8-14. No rude, violent, or inappropriate structures—if you wouldn’t show it to your teacher or parents, don’t build it!
4️⃣ No Inappropriate Skins
Your Minecraft skin should be appropriate for all ages. Anything offensive, revealing, or inappropriate will result in removal from the server until changed.
5️⃣ No Spamming the Chat
Flooding the chat with excessive messages, CAPS, or repeated text makes it hard for others to communicate. Keep messages clear and relevant.
6️⃣ Listen to Each Other & Have Fun!
Everyone deserves to be heard. Whether it’s an admin, a friend, or a new player—be respectful, listen, and most importantly, enjoy the game!
7️⃣ No Cheating Mods
Hacks, x-ray mods, auto-clickers, and any other unfair modifications are strictly forbidden. We play fair to keep the experience fun for everyone.
💻 Social Club Rules (For Zoom Meetings & Online Events)
1️⃣ If Possible, Change Zoom Username to Your Gamertag
This helps everyone recognize you and makes it easier to organize activities.
2️⃣ Camera Use is Optional
You don’t have to turn on your camera, but if you do, please make sure your background is appropriate.
3️⃣ Be Friendly with Others
This is a social club—talk, chat, and get involved! Be kind, respectful, and inclusive of everyone.
4️⃣ Listen When Others Are Speaking
Respect others during conversations. Avoid talking over others and wait your turn to speak.
5️⃣ Help Each Other, Especially New Players
New members might feel lost at first—offer help, answer questions, and make them feel welcome!
6️⃣ Message Me in Zoom Chat if It’s Urgent
If you need admin help, send a private message so it doesn’t disrupt the session.
✨ Play Nicely & Be Friendly!
The most important rule: be kind and respectful. Don’t do anything that could upset other players, parents, or admins. It’s just a game—let’s have fun together! 🎮😊
⚠ Consequences for Breaking the Rules
At Minecraft Club, we believe in being fair and reasonable. Children make mistakes, and we want to help them learn and grow rather than simply punish them. Our goal is to maintain a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment for all players.
Admins use a range of tools to enforce rules, always considering the situation and the player’s intent. In most cases, a verbal warning (either in chat or private message) will be given before further action is taken.
If necessary, we may pause access to the server until we contact the guardian on record. This allows us to explain the issue and discuss next steps if the behavior continues.
🛠 Actions We May Take
🔇 Mute – Chat Restrictions
A mute prevents a player from sending messages in chat. This is usually used for chat-related violations, such as spamming or inappropriate language.
📌 What happens? You will receive a message explaining why you were muted. You may still be able to communicate through books or signs.
⛔ Kicked – Temporary Removal from the Server
A kick is a quick way to interrupt rule-breaking behavior without banning a player.
📌 What happens?
- You are disconnected from the server but can rejoin immediately.
- Before rejoining, you must agree to stop the behavior.
- If the issue continues, stronger actions may follow.
🚪 Jail – Temporary Isolation
Jail is a restricted area where players cannot leave or interact with others. This is used mainly for gameplay violations (such as griefing or rule-breaking in events).
📌 What happens?
- You are placed in a special area until an admin can discuss the situation.
- Parents may be contacted to help resolve the issue.
🚫 Ban – Temporary or Permanent Removal
For serious or repeated rule violations, a player may be banned from the Minecraft Club server or Social Website.
📌 What happens?
- The ban length depends on the severity of the situation.
- Some bans last until we speak with a parent or guardian.
- If the behavior continues after returning, a permanent ban may be applied.
📜 Allow List Removal – Temporary Suspension
In rare cases, players may be removed from the allow list, meaning they cannot access the server. This is typically for those who:
- Repeatedly disrupt gameplay despite warnings.
- Show signs they are not ready for a multiplayer environment.
📌 What happens?
- Players can rejoin after a waiting period.
- When they return, admins will monitor behavior to ensure they follow the rules.
- Continued violations may lead to a permanent ban.
📢 A Final Note to Players
Our rules and consequences exist to make Minecraft Club enjoyable, fair, and safe for everyone.
Even if a behavior isn’t listed in the rules, if an admin asks you to stop doing something that is upsetting others, please respect their decision.
The admins are responsible for keeping the server secure and will always make decisions based on what’s best for the community.
If you have questions about any action taken, you or your parent/guardian are always welcome to ask for clarification.
Play fair, be kind, and have fun! 🎮😊
