October Build and Skills Challenge
Welcome to the October 2023 Build and Skills Challenge. As it is the month of October and Halloween, we are going to be show our building skills off by ‘carving’ a pumpkin. All the details are below.
Objective :
- Design a Halloween Pumpkin.
Optional:
- Plan your Pumpkin on a piece of paper.
- Use Redstone in your build to activate when Dark.
- Carve a IRL Pumpkin in the same way as you designed your Minecraft Club one.
Instructions:
Teleport: Either Click on the Pumpkin in the Menu or the Character at Spawn to Teleport to the Challenge World.
GameMode: Creative, can only build in owned plots.
Available Commands – In the Arrival Area:
- Set time to Day
- Set time to Night
- limited night vision
Step 1 – Choose any pumpkin by clicking on the sign next to It and the pumpkin will be yours.
Step 2 – Design Pumpkin on Sheet of paper. (Optional)
Step 3 – Build your Pumpkin however you want. Carve it out and create a spooky villain, replace the orange blocks with multicoloured to ‘paint’ it. Make it into a friendly face, or wherever else you can think of. Be imaginative, Creative and most importantly have fun.
Step 4 – Once you have built it, try using some Redstone to make it light up at night. (Optional)
Step 5 – If you get the chance, create your Minecraft Club Pumpkin on a real life pumpkin. (Optional)
