Claims

Claims are possibly one of the most important parts of Minecraft Club. They are what protect your builds, items and animals from anyone who might want to cause them harm.

On your first login you will be gifted several things including 200 claim blocks. You can use these straight away to claim some land and build your home.

You earn claim blocks just by playing on the server. For every hour played you earn an extra 100 claim blocks. If this isn’t enough or too slow, you can buy claim blocks from the main menu using your money. Similarly, if you have too many claim blocks, you can sell them to earn money, also from the main menu.

There are 2 ways to claim land –

• Stand on the spot you want to claim and use the menu to claim an area around where your standing.
• Use a golden Shovel to mark the opposite corners and claim all the land in between (you can get this from the main menu).

It’s also possible to expand your claim if you need more room, or didn’t have enough claim blocks at the start.

Claims work slightly differently in each gamemode.

• Survival – It’s possible to build anywhere in the wilderness without using claim blocks, but it will be unprotected unless the land is claimed.
• Creative – You can not build anywhere unless you claim the land first.
• Adventure – You can not claim any land as no building is permitted.

It is up to you to protect your builds by using claims to prevent damage.

You can invite other members to join your claims so you can build together as a group, if you allow others access then they will have the same access as you including to your chests. – You can do this from the main menu.

It is possible to remove members from your claims if you no longer want them to build with you. – You can do this from the main menu.
