Safety

Safety for your children is the most important thing for us.

We understand there are lots of online communities these days, and it can be difficult to ensure that the people your child is playing with are appropriate. That’s why we restrict our server to users aged between 8-14 (year 3 – year 9). This way you can be confident that the other people your child interacts with are going to be of a similar age, with similar attitudes towards playing.

Our admin and all staff have valid enhanced DBS checks and Child Safety certifications.

We do this by ensuring all of our members have been verified by our Admin prior to being given access to the server. This way we can be sure that even if you don’t know who your child is playing with, we do. Our verification requires a parent and the new social club member to speak to our admin on a video call to introduce yourselves and to ensure you have all of the settings correct to add to the server to your game. It also gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have too.

We protect our server by having a allow list – meaning only approved members who are verified can logon.

Chat moderation – all chat is automatically moderated and offensive words are banned from use. Repeated use can result in a temporary or permanent ban. All chat is recorded and saved to logs so can be reviewed afterwards if necessary.

Grief Prevention– this is when players destroy or change others builds without permission from the original builder. Some servers allow griefers, ours does not. We offer different ways to protect your creations to stop people from griefing them.

• Town Plots – Inside the town walls players can only build on plots they own/rent. Right click on a sign to agree to the terms and then change/update the building however you want.
• Claim Blocks – Claim blocks are earned the more time you spend on the server, and gives users the ability to claim land that others can not destroy.
• (With both methods, members can invite other members giving them the ability to live/build/play together)

Logging – Many actions get logged so it can not be argued they did not do something. Whether its entering a command, killing another player or animal, or breaking blocks, granting access to plots – all these actions are monitored.

Rollback – Although other plugins should prevent the need for this, in the unlikely event that someone does manage to grief another building without permission the server can rollback to restore peoples builds.
